The horizontal situation indicator (H.S.I.) merges heading and navigation deviation into a single display, and it sits at the centre of the navigation instrument group together with the compass, course and distance indicators.
Air Shunt's Flight Instruments department tests, repairs, and overhauls this group, with fresh-tag overhaul or test on every quoted unit. Work is performed at our Chatsworth, California facility under FAA repair station certificate YD2R315L.

Repair, Overhaul, or Exchange
Every unit we quote fresh tag is freshly overhauled or tested with a fresh tag. Where an exchange makes more sense than a repair, we can often supply from inventory instead — we hold over 10 million spare parts on hand, and in-stock aircraft parts are ready for immediate delivery. Work is carried out at our Chatsworth, California facility under FAA Part 145 repair station certificate YD2R315L. We also hold EASA Part-145 approval EASA.145.4087, are certified to ISO 9001:2015, and are an ARSA member in good standing. Certificates are available to download on the quality page.

Do you repair the H.S.I. and the flight director as a set?
Yes — both fall inside the Flight Instruments department, and the associated steering computers and mode couplers are handled by Cockpit & Controls on the same site. Put all the part numbers on one quote request.
